Miniature American Shepherd Standards
The parent club of Miniature American Shepherd Club of America (MASCUSA). Miniature American Shepherds are from the herding group and bred to herd small stock. Not only are they bred for the farm life but they are also bred for a household pet. The Miniature American Shepherds are a standard 14-18 inches for males and 13-17 inches for females. The Miniature American Shepherd has a standard of four colors (Black Tri, Blue Merle, Red, and Red Merle). Their proportion is slightly longer than tall, with a moderate bone to the height and size. Their expression should be alert with almond-shaped eyes. Miniature American Shepherds should have a temperament that has strong herding instincts, and easily trained and willing to perform tasks that are asked.
