The question is what is showing? Animals shows have been around from the 1900s.
Conformation showing is the ability to produce and comparing the dogs to the breed standards to the best of the judge ability. There is a large range of types of showing that are available to exhibitors and owners. Miniature American Shepherds are known for their talent in
dock diving,
fly ball,
agility,
rally,
obedience and
herding. Not only are there only six type of shows that Miniature American Shepherds are talented in but there are many more that are not not recognized by the
American Kennel Club (AKC).
